MINDFUL MIXED MEDIA WORKSHOP

Class Date: Sunday, July 12th

Class Time: 12pm–3pm

In this mindful mixed media workshop, we’ll explore creativity through process and play. Beginning with a series of guided warm-up exercises, participants will have space to loosen up, experiment, and become familiar with a variety of materials and techniques.

From there, we’ll transition into developing either a mini series or larger individual works (2-3), allowing ideas to emerge organically and evolve over time. Emphasis will be placed on exploration rather than perfection, encouraging intuition, curiosity, and creative flow throughout the process.

This class is open to all experience levels and offers a supportive environment for artistic discovery, experimentation, and mindful making.

Each workshop ticket includes:

• 3 hours of hands on instruction from a talented artist and small business owner

• Use of colored pencils, watercolors, oil pastels, paint brushes

• Bristol paper

• Micron pens to take home
  

• Snack bento box + treats

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR: KELLY CHAMBLISS

Kelly is the hands that make behind Rocky Woods Studio, crafting plantable paper and custom colored wedding stationery. As an artist and art teacher, she was surrounded by many different art supplies. Exploring mixed media was a way of keeping the supplies feeling fresh in the classroom and her own art practice. It's as much about the process as it is the end result, as we slow down and play!

Cancellations: We do not allow cancellations as we have committed to compensating our instructor for their time, supplies and talent. However, if you are unable to attend the workshop, let us know within 48 hours and you can either send someone else in your place or have this workshop's materials shipped to you.

Dietary restrictions: We will be providing a light meal for all of our workshop attendees. At this time we are not able to cater to every dietary restriction but will have a vegetarian option available. (please make a selection at check out, once your selection has been made we are unable to modify.)

Age requirements: The Paper + Craft Pantry workshops are created for adults and are not recommended for anyone under the age of 18 years old. We are unable to seat anyone under age without a ticketed parent or legal guardian who is also attending this class.
