INTRO TO MONOLINE LETTERING WORKSHOP

Ready to learn the art of modern monoline lettering? This beginner friendly workshop is your complete guide to a versatile, signature script. Inspired by the elegance of practical penmanship, we'll walk through a full alphabet exemplar, step-by-step techniques, and real-world applications for the custom "Dapper Script." Whether you're into snail mail, journaling, or digital illustration, you'll leave ready to add this cursive script to every creative project.

Whether you're an artist, pen enthusiast, or creative entrepreneur, this workshop provides the tools to build confidence and the flexibility to adapt this script to your own unique aesthetic.

                          MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR: ANA PEÑA

                          Based in Austin, Texas, Ana is the calligrapher and co-owner of Handsome Ink. From luxury brand activations to intimate gatherings, she brings penmanship to life through live engraving, foiling, and traditional calligraphy. The namesake of the studio she runs with her husband? Their good-looking dog, Handsome. Off-duty, Ana runs It’s Breakfast Dime, an illustration venture inspired by the day she found a dime in her morning omelette. It’s her go-to space for serving hand-lettering and love notes—available 24/7 (well, almost).

                          Disclaimer + Recommendation: 

                          Inclement weather: Updates and policies will be emailed the week of the workshop date with any current or relevant pertinent information.

                          Cancellations: We do not allow cancellations as we have committed to compensating our instructor for their time, supplies and talent. However, if you are unable to attend the workshop, let us know within 48 hours and you can either send someone else in your place or pick up any personal workshop materials the week following the class.

                          Dietary restrictions: We will be providing a light meal for all of our workshop attendees. At this time we are not able to cater to every dietary restriction but will have a vegetarian option available. (Please make a selection at check out, once your selection has been made we are unable to modify.)

                          Age requirements: The Paper + Craft Pantry workshops are created for adults and are not recommended for anyone under the age of 18 years old. We are unable to seat anyone under age without a ticketed parent or legal guardian who is also attending this class.
